It is no longer uncommon to see or find plastic bottles, tattered strips of cloth, construction waste or used products dumped by the road side, in the forests, or on the river. It seems that there is no need to think about when this problem can be solved, because the contradiction between human and nature is full of endless cycles and repetitions. In my artwork Dark spot, I use infusion bags and water as materials. At first, it’s just a little black dot, it then moves outward, become more numerous. The mold forms naturally, in different shape and shade. My inspiration comes from news about medical waste illegal dumping. This kind of phenomenon poses a security risk to human beings and the environment. If we don’t take it seriously, the problem will breeding faster and faster like black dots.
